Nose Ring FAQ

Q: When Can I Change my Nose Piercing?

A: The standard healing time for nose piercings is around 2-3 months. Some nose piercings may heal as soon as 4 weeks but some make take longer and need closer to the 3 month time frame. It is always best to wait until the piercing is no longer tender to touch and until there is no redness, irritation or puss. When changing a new piercing, be sure to put in a replacement piercing right after you take out your original to ensure the piercing hole does not close. Be sure you are also choosing a hypoallergenic material as to not cause any irritation to your new piercing. Titanium and surgical steel are great hypoallergenic choices.
