Super cute but wrong size for what I ordered for

I ordered this as a Conch ring like how it's shown in the picture and it is way too small for that. Maybe I have a "big conch" but it wouldn't close even with my ear mushed in. I tried to see if I could just leave it but it was too tight and I can't have it in for more than 8 hours before it starts to hurt. The metal is good and doesn't irritate the piercing and the design and earring itself is great, just maybe for a helix instead of a conch.
